Safety is a high priority at Play Academy. The entire one acre campus is protected by fencing. The secured building is monitored with a TYCO security system, plus a fire safety sprinkler system. Most importantly, the staff is alert with years of experience!
We've combined the best elements and values sports teach, while eliminating the typical downfalls associated with most leagues to create the ultimate youth sports experience. We provide a safe environment for kids to have fun playing the sport they love. We do it by making each season a memorable, life-shaping event for your child. After all, sports were created for fun and we'd have it no other way.
Our Three year old and preschool classes learn with Letter People. This is a research-based, developmentally appropriate, comprehensive Pre-K curriculum, Let’s Begin with the Letter People has withstood the test of time. Kid-friendly and teacher-approved, Let’s Begin with the Letter People helps early learners develop the strong foundation they’ll need for reading and writing success in today’s much more rigorous kindergarten classrooms.
Letter People curriculum is used by Moon, Montour, and West Allegheny School Districts in their kindergarten through third grade classes. 
All of Play Academy's staff credentials meet or exceed levels required by the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare. Out staff includes a variety of backgrounds including CDA's (Child Development Associates), Early Education Degree's and we even have an in-house grandma!
